Turkish flat steel exports down by 30.11% in 2022 on weak markets
Turkey exported 4,480,158 tonnes of flat steel products in 2022, a fall of 30.11% compared with 6,409,990 tonnes exported in 2021, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) reported this week.
The country exported 201,846 tonnes of flat steel in December 2022, a 70.11% decrease year-on-year compared with the 675,371 tonnes exported in December 2021, the institute said.
