One year on - after invasion of Ukraine, Russian steel output, exports drop less than expected

Russia’s output of steel products, local demand for these and export sales of such materials all dropped in 2022 as a result of the trading sanctions imposed on the country after its invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022 - but the reductions were smaller than the markets expected.
