European ferro-chrome benchmark up by 15.4% at $1.72 per lb for Q2 2023

The European charge and high-carbon ferro-chrome benchmark for the second quarter of 2023 has been settled at $1.72 per lb, up by 15.4% from $1.49 per lb for the first quarter.

The benchmark had held steady at $1.49 per lb from the fourth quarter of 2022, having declined by 17.2% from the third quarter to the fourth quarter of 2022.
