Sentiment worsens in Russian export pig iron market on drop in demand

Sentiment in the pig iron export market from Russia turned negative during the week ended Thursday March 23 because of lower demand in Turkey, while Italy has no demand at the moment after distributors recently restocked.

Demand dropped in Turkey because of the imminent start of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, when working hours are typically reduced.
