Freeport’s Morenci is proving ground for new copper leaching tech, president says

Freeport-McMoRan’s Morenci complex in the US is the main proving ground for the copper producer’s efforts to pursue the use of new technology to enhance the recovery of materials from its existing leach operations, the company’s president has said.
