Asian deep-sea steel scrap import volumes down by 100,000 tonnes in June

The volume of deep-sea steel scrap cargoes purchased by Asian buyers fell to an estimated 124,500 tonnes in June 2023, according to market participants.

Purchases were down from an estimated 233,000 tonnes in May 2023 and from an estimated 187,000 tonnes in April.
