Turkish flat steel exports down 45% year on year in June

Turkey exported 280,241 tonnes of flat steel products in June 2023, down by 45.06% year on year from 510,124 tonnes exported in June 2022, according to the latest report from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) released this week.

In the first six months of this year, the country exported 1,468,183 tonnes of flat steel, down by 40.34% from the 2,460,802 tonnes exported in January-June 2022.
