Optimistic outlook for demand leads Chinese steelmakers to raise prices

A few major Chinese steelmakers have increased the prices for some of their steel products by 100-200 yuan ($14-28) per tonne for domestic bookings made in September in anticipation of demand picking up during the high season and amid the introduction of a raft of stimulus measures.
