Brazil steel demand to improve in 2024 but imports still a risk, Gerdau CEO says

Brazil-based steelmaker Gerdau expected to see an increase in the country’s demand for steel in 2024, but competition from imported products was a threat to the industry, according to chief executive officer Gustavo Werneck.
