Ukraine ships first steel, raw material cargoes from Black Sea since Russian blockade [update]

Two vessels with steel raw materials and one with steel products have departed from Pivdennyi and Odesa — two major Ukrainian Black Sea ports — since August 27, according to local authorities and market sources.

On August 27, the bulk carrier Primus left Odessa, according to Ukrainian steelmaker Metinvest and vessel finder reports. It was loaded with steel products, one source from Ukraine said.
