European manganese flake price jumps; supply tightness reported

Manganese flake prices in Europe increased on Wednesday September 13, with market participants reporting tight spot supply and a rush to secure material before China’s Golden Week holiday.

Fastmarkets’ assessment for manganese 99.7% electrolytic manganese flake, in-whs Rotterdam increased by 3.6% to $1,935-1,950 per tonne on Wednesday, up from $1,850-1,900 per tonne on September 8.
