Brazilian duty increase not enough to curb flat steel imports, Inda says

The recent decision by the Brazilian government to increase the import duties imposed on certain flat steel products from October this year will not be significant in reducing the import volumes of such materials, national flat steel distributors’ association Inda said on Thursday September 21.
