Domestic Egyptian rebar prices narrow amid subdued demand

The price for rebar in Egypt narrowed in the week to Thursday September 21 after producers lowered their offer prices in an attempt to move on stocks.

At the same time, Fastmarkets’ price assessment for billet imported into Egypt increased marginally - although demand for both products has remained weak over the assessment period.
