Ferro-molybdenum prices register fifth consecutive decrease in Europe

Ferro-molybdenum prices continued their downward trajectory in the European spot market during the week ended Friday January 19, after issues such as the tensions in the Red Sea, concerns over supply from Armenia and the end of the traditionally quiet Christmas and New Year period failed to ignite activity.

Fastmarkets’ twice weekly price assessment for ferro-molybdenum 65% Mo min, in-whs Rotterdam was $44.90-46.50 per kg Mo on January 19, down from $45-46.50 per kg Mo on January 17.
